Looking out over the city from my office window, I see our massive 10,000-foot mountains a few miles in the distance. White fluffy cumulus clouds dot the sky, and under them lie perfect blue skies reflecting the (almost) always constant sunshine. My city is 10 days away from an explosion of blooms, buds, and pollen. I love to watch the hint of green in the trees turn into the fully dressed leaves of Spring. And as is our weather ritual of Spring, there comes the late snow or freeze; it seems to surprise us every single year.

What is getting ready to bloom for you? Just as flowers shed their old petals to make way for new blooms, we must also be willing to let go of limiting beliefs and habits that no longer serve us. Change is coming and, by embracing change, we create space for personal and professional expansion to flourish. Maybe it’s pursuing a new hobby, advancing your career, or fostering deeper connections in your relationships, this season invites us to embrace change with open arms.

As our frost-bitten ground and snow-covered mountains wake, so can our ambitions. Spring offers a fertile ground for setting goals and aspirations, allowing us to plant the seeds of our dreams and to watch them grow. Whether it’s embarking on a new project, seeking career advancement, or pursuing further education, now is the time to cultivate ambitions with intention and determination. By harnessing the energy of spring, we can sow the seeds of success and nurture them into fruition.

Preparation is key to capitalizing on the opportunities that lie ahead. Spring offers a prime occasion to lay the groundwork for personal and professional expansion, whether through strategic planning, networking, or refining our resumes and portfolios. Right now, I’m working with dynamic organizations and cities as they emerge from the winter to chart strategic roadmaps for the future.

Spring presents an ideal opportunity to invest in self-improvement and skill development, whether through workshops, courses, or self-directed learning. By taking proactive steps to prepare for growth, we position ourselves to seize the moment when opportunity knocks. Like a gardener tending to their garden, we must tend to our aspirations with care and foresight, knowing that the effort we invest today will yield a bountiful harvest tomorrow.
